I have always been in shape since a kid playing sports I could eat anything and still keep a great body. As we all learn to findout as we get older it is harder to keep the weight off and keep the metabolism running like a well oiled machine. I am 5’9 and my ideal weight is 155-165, I had ballooned up to 225-235 in my early 30’s to mid 30’s and became a drunk, depressed wreck. I always kept a job or a business, so I always was a good earner. Working as a sub contractor for Directv and Dish kept me in shape although I didn’t eat as healthy as I would have liked. One day I got tired of the business because of not getting paid correctly and phony charge backs. My Super Moms health was ailing her and nobody offered to take care of her, so in the position I was in living like a rebel without a cause in Oklahoma, I decided to give up the lonely drunken, fun, Cowboy life and head back home.
Once I got home back in San Antonio, TX I had to find a work from home gig, because I was now my parents caretaker. I had dabbled in home based businesses before but never really made any significant income, but I had also not ever really gave it my all. Over the next year I discovered affiliate marketing and became one of the top online marketers in the country, earning an average 5-6 figure income and also becoming a top recruiter in Network Marketing, even earning a spot in the exclusive Producers Club.
But as you know in home based business you have your ups and downs and I began drinking as much in celebration and also defeat. I stopped working out and didn’t really eat as healthy as I should have indulging in fast food on regular basis. After hitting the scales at over 225+ pounds and starting to have anxiety and panic attacks I knew I had to change my ways. Here is the exact blueprint I used to take control of my life and gain my health back.
How I lost 50 Pounds Without An Outrageous Weight Loss Diet!
Eat right: Through the philosophy of whole health and Cleanse, Balance, Build, I was able to get in the best shape of my life. I call it the smoothie and salad diet which is basically an alkaline diet and believe me it works, basically what the smoothie and salad diet is, is replacing 1 meal per day with a healthy delicious smoothie, then eating 3-4 oz of lean protein with lunch and dinner accompanied with a dark leafy greens salad of course with other veggies. 1-2 cheat days are allowed so have FUN!
Follow the Alkaline Diet of primarily vegetables and fruits.
Drink at least half your body weight in ounces of water every day. 8-12 oz glasses of water per day.
NO NO List: Below is a list of foods and beverages that are not allowed on the smoothie and salad diet. Note: Alcohol is ok if consumed on average amounts of 1 -2 drinks per day.

Exercise/Movement: This is really pretty simple, it’s not as hard as people make it out to be. What I recommend is 30 minutes-1 hour of body movement per day. As long as you keep your body moving your body with naturally detox and you will obviously lose weight. Got to keep the engine ticking.

• If you smoke, quit.
• Chew food thoroughly – this aids in digestion and nutrient absorption, helping create a healthier body and mind.
• Eat until satiated, but NOT full. This means you should neither feel hungry nor full; stop between the two.
• Get plenty of sleep (7-9 hours per night).
• Do not eat after 9PM.
• Exercise everyday. Exercise oxygenates the cells and tissues and encourages detoxification. Acid is removed from the body through sweat (the skin), as well as the other channels of elimination (lungs, liver, kidneys, bowel, blood, and lymphatic system).
Supplementation: It is very important to supplement because of the air we breathe, water we drink and food we eat.
Acid/Alkaline Dietary Tips: Go on a short 24-hour freshly juiced liquid vegetable diet to cleanse excess acid waste. Drink an alkalizing juice of 8 fl. oz. tomato juice and 1 tsp. each of wheat germ, brewer’s yeast and lecithin daily. Drink 1 to 2 glasses of plain cranberry juice daily. Incorporate fresh squeezed vegetable juices with lemon into your diet daily. Drink 8 to 10 glasses of alkaline water daily. Water is instrumental in flushing acids out of the body. Add lemon or lime to your water. For 3 days, try and eat only fresh raw or blanched foods to complete the body alkalizing process. Cooked foods tend to increase acidity. Eat a diet of 80% alkalizing foods, including fresh and lightly steamed vegetables, sprouts, fruits and ocean vegetables.
Final Thoughts: This is not a diet, this is a lifestyle change for the better, If I can do it so can you, it’s not always easy and if you slip up who cares, start again the next day. Please remember I believe in YOU always.
